God in the New Mexico Constitution

Separation of church & state or God in the Constitution? New Mexico’s Constitution specifically acknowledges our Almighty God and our Blessings (which come from God). Indeed, “the people of New Mexico, grateful to Almighty God for the blessings of liberty, in order to secure the advantages of a state government,” established their state constitution, as stated right in their Constitution Preamble.

God in the New Jersey Constitution

Separation of church & state or God in the Constitution? New Jersey’s Constitution specifically acknowledges God, our Lord, the Almighty, and our Blessings (which come from God). New Jersey premises their entire Constitution on this Preamble: We, the people of the State of New Jersey, grateful to Almighty God for the civil and religious liberty which He hath so long permitted us to enjoy, and looking to Him for a blessing upon our endeavors to secure and transmit the same unimpaired to succeeding generations, do ordain and establish this Constitution. And similar to other states, NJ also includes that “No person shall be deprived of the inestimable privilege of worshipping[sic] Almighty God in a manner agreeable to the dictates of his own conscience”Article 1, Sec 3.

Wellness Wednesday #30

Some toxins to watch out for are in our food & others in our personal care products.  Lectins are found in our food. Why don’t you want them?
1. Digestive Distress: When raw, lectins can cause acute food poisoning symptoms, including severe nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, & diarrhea. One specific lectin, phytohemagglutinin (found in high amounts in raw kidney beans), can cause red blood cells to clump together.
2. Gut Barrier Damage (“Leaky Gut”): Lectins are resistant to human digestive enzymes & stomach acid. They can bind to the intestinal wall, damaging the microvilli & increasing intestinal permeability (leaky gut). This allows toxins to enter the bloodstream & trigger inflammation.
3. Nutrient Malabsorption: Because they bind to carbohydrates, lectins can interfere with the body’s ability to absorb vital minerals like iron, calcium, phosphorus & zinc.

God in the New Hampshire Constitution

Separation of church & state or God in the Constitution? New Hampshire’s Constitution specifically acknowledges God (5 times), and our Blessings (which come from God). New Hampshire even includes an interesting aspect of their Constitution, as found in Art 38 “A frequent recurrence to the fundamental principles of the Constitution, and a constant adherence to justice, moderation, temperance, industry, frugality, and all the social virtues, are indispensably necessary to preserve the blessings of liberty and good government.”
