Some toxins to watch out for are in our food & others in our personal care products. Brominated Vegetable Oil (BVO) is found in our foods. Why don’t you want it? It can cause neurological and reproductive harm and thyroid toxicity. Bromine, a component of BVO, is a halogen that can accumulate in the body and potentially cause thyroid issues, as it can interfere with iodine uptake (Guzman et al., 2018). Additionally, brominated compounds have been linked to developmental and reproductive toxicity (Guzman et al., 2018). In response to these concerns, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has proposed a ban on BVO in food, although it has not yet been finalized.

Separation of church & state or God in the Constitution? Oklahoma’s Constitution specifically acknowledges our Almighty God, and our Blessings (which come from God). The Oklahoma Constitution begins: “Preamble. Invoking the guidance of Almighty God, in order to secure and perpetuate the blessing of liberty; to secure just and rightful government; to promote our mutual welfare and happiness, we, the people of the State of Oklahoma, do ordain and establish this Constitution.”

Some toxins to watch out for are in our food & others in our personal care products. Medium & High Glycemic Index foods are found in much of what we eat. Why don’t you want medium & high glycemic index foods?
You should avoid or limit medium and high glycemic index (GI) foods because they cause rapid spikes in blood sugar, which over time, increases the risk of type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and obesity. These foods are typically refined, processed, or high in added sugars, leading to quick digestion that triggers excessive insulin release and subsequent blood sugar crashes, which can promote cravings, overeating, and weight gain.
Health Risks: Consistently high blood glucose levels can cause insulin resistance and are associated with higher risks of heart disease, stroke, and certain cancers.
Metabolic Impact: High-GI foods often lack fiber and protein, causing glucose to hit the bloodstream rapidly rather than gradually, which disrupts satiety signals.
This November, we will have 3 proposed Florida Constitutional Amendments and 5 proposed Volusia County Charter Amendments on our ballot. On 9/18/26 from 6-8pm (doors open at 5:30) at Port Orange Christian Church, I am giving a presentation – open to the public – on what each of these proposed amendments would do. This document goes along with that presentation: RestoreFreedom.us/2026-constitution-charter-amendments/
