Speech: Katherine Henry at FL Legislature on SB 1288 Parent Bill of Rights Amendment
SB 1288 as amended on 4/1/25 amends the FL Parent Bill of Rights to better protect our kids and our parental rights. On 4/1/25, Constitutional Attorney Katherine Henry spoke in front of the Florida Senate Judiciary Committee to urge them to vote favorably on SB 1288, as amended. Unfortunately, with how many people asked to speak on this bill, time for speakers was cut quite short and Katherine was not able to speak on the 3 specific parts of the bill that protect our rights. The committee voted favorably, and the bill moved to the next committee.
