Judiciary committee hearing on Florida SB1288 (Parental Rights). It was an honor to speak in support of this bill (and its current amendment). Some speaking against this bill actually said parents should NOT control their children, and that parents only have responsibilities NOT rights regarding their children. 
That will have younger generation not want children
Last I checked most common law regarding children they are treated as “ property “ and therefore the parents are both responsible and have property rights regarding them just like animals. Now people gonna be mad about the way this sounds but the reality is under the constitution nobody who is not a legal adult has no “ legal rights” – This statement is not meant to demean nor disregard minor children in any way they should be cared for and loved and provided for in every aspect but instilling them with “ rights” other than basic human rights is not legally correct. These states need to back off from thinking children belong to the collective
