There’s a really important bill pending in your state’s legislature. You want to have your voice heard on it. But how? Most state legislatures DON’T allow public comment when the legislature meets to vote on bills. Rather, they allow public comment time during committee hearings, as the bills move through the various committees BEFORE it’s voted on by the legislature as a whole. Bills are generally assigned to 3 different committees, with each having their own public hearings where public comment time is held. Check out your state legislature’s committee hearings schedule & info. Michigan’s is at https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Committees/Meetings. Florida’s House is at https://www.flhouse.gov/Sections/Committees/committees.aspx & the FL Senate is at https://www.flsenate.gov/Committees #FreedomFightingTool #BeInformed
